THE PROJECT
THE PROJECT
Along the paths of history, a sustainable future begins. This initiative was created to promote the Acquasanta territory through the restoration, mapping, and enhancement of the ancient network of trails connecting the villages of Acquasanta Terme with the mills, castles, abbeys, and hamlets of nearby Abruzzo.
Our activities—nature and cultural routes, food and wine tours, events, and educational workshops—aim to bring together the resources of the local community to create new development opportunities based on experiential and sustainable tourism.
“Le Antiche Vie Mulattiere dell’Acquasantano” is a project developed by the Pro Acquasanta Terme Association, in collaboration with the Carisap Foundation and a network of partners, as part of the “Masterplan Terremoto” program.
