The Municipality of Acquasanta Terme has implemented the “Integrated Digital Services” DHATI System; Digital Hub Acquasanta Terme Integrated, thanks to the financial support of the European Union – Marche Regional Program ERDF 2021/2027, Axis 1, Action 1.2.2, aimed at promoting digital growth in territories and improving accessibility of public services.
The intervention has digitized part of the Municipality’s territorial offering, activating a unified platform that is interoperable with the Digital Hub Marche (DHM) for the integrated management of itineraries, points of interest, economic operators and multimedia content, developing the municipal marketplace linked to the Pro Loco of Acquasanta, which allows local businesses to present their services and products in a shared digital ecosystem, enhancing the tourism, production and cultural supply chain. The process will be active for the next 18 months to complete the entire offering and include the designs for the Rio Garrafo Park and the New Thermal Pool. The optimization of the territory’s service and sports activity offerings, and tourist routes.
The project has created new digital services aimed at citizens, visitors and businesses, improving the enjoyment of the territory through modern information tools, digital guides, advanced contact services and booking systems. Editorial content, POI sheets, thematic itineraries, videos and multimedia materials useful for local promotion have been produced, created with the full involvement of local operators.
Thanks to the system, businesses and engaged entities will also be able to coordinate digitally on the portal to create increasingly complex and complete offers for their guests. The system has been conceived as a distributed information office, and a physical office at the Proloco Acquasanta and Mulattiere locations that have tablets and operational kiosks available.
Thanks to the ERDF contribution, system objectives have been achieved: the infrastructure is now operational, scalable and sustainable over time, optimized for voluntary and automated entry of new actors in Acquasanta tourism, fully consistent with the tender indicators and compliant with regional interoperability standards.
Every new facility, B&B, and tourist offering has the possibility to access the system free of charge. The European investment has made possible a qualitative leap in the Municipality’s ability to communicate, promote and manage its heritage, increasing digital accessibility and the overall attractiveness of the territory.
The operation, which involved an investment of €45,000, was financed 100% with European Union resources, within the framework of the Marche Regional Program ERDF 2021/2027.
