Prata Waterfall

Nestled in the woods above Umito, the Prata Waterfall is one of the most spectacular in the Monti della Laga Park. The water cascades down for dozens of meters along a sandstone wall, creating a white veil amidst the deep green of the forest and the scent of chestnut trees.

Reaching it is a journey into the heart of the mountain: the trail follows streams, through moss and ferns, to a natural amphitheater where the roar of the water becomes a voice. In summer, its breath refreshes, in spring, the energy of the flood shakes the valley, and in winter, the ice transforms it into a crystalline sculpture.

A place of strength and silence, the Prata is the symbolic waterfall of Acquasanta Terme, a testament to the deep connection between water, stone, and the soul of the Laga.
