Thermal Spa

The Acquasanta Thermal Baths have been famous since ancient Roman times, when travelers had the opportunity to stop at the “Ad Aquas” posting station, which corresponds to the current district of Santa Maria. Here, remains of pools, mosaics, lead pipes, and ancient inscriptions have been found, testifying to the presence of a thermal station.

In Acquasanta’s subsoil, there is indeed an enormous hydrothermal basin, which allows for the extraction of saline-sulfurous waters in numerous sites throughout the territory.

The thermal establishment, which has been documented since 1851, offers a wide range of services, including bathing facilities and rooms for inhaling water vapors.
