The first stretch is challenging \u2013 about one kilometer with a 250-meter elevation gain \u2013 but the view rewards every effort.<br data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"492\">After the initial steep section, the path continues gently at altitude for two kilometers, with spectacular views of the Tronto valley. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"861\">A short 300-meter detour leads to the <strong data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"700\">Pizzo Belvedere<\/strong>, an exceptional panoramic point from which you can overlook <strong data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"790\">Acquasanta, Paggese, Pomaro, Cagnano<\/strong> and other hamlets, in a view that encompasses the entire territory.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"1169\">Returning to the main path, you reach the ancient abandoned village of <strong data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"955\">Vallesaggia<\/strong>, of which only a few ruins remain, immersed in silence. Here, the paths to <strong data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1073\">Cocoscia, Meschia and Pretare<\/strong> converge, at a point of contact between the municipalities of <strong data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1166\">Acquasanta, Roccafluvione, Montegallo and Arquata<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1171\" data-end=\"1415\">The descent towards <strong data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1203\">Santa Maria<\/strong> develops in a serpentine pattern: in some sections, the gravel requires attention, but the landscape is of great charm.
