The Garrafo Gorges<\/strong> offer a unique experience, dedicated to those who have basic climbing skills<\/strong> and wish to experience direct contact with the wildest nature.
The route develops along a natural canyon<\/strong> carved by the Garrafo Stream, a small torrent that flows between high rocky walls and lush vegetation.<\/p>\n

During the excursion, you will also walk on wall sections<\/strong>, using pre-installed ropes, and in some points, you cross the cold stream water<\/strong>: therefore, water shoes<\/strong> with good grip and a protective helmet<\/strong> are essential, as falling rocks from above are not uncommon.
The route, while scenic, is challenging and not suitable for children or people who suffer from vertigo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The environment is spectacular: gorges sculpted by water, clear pools, and forests that embrace the stream’s course, in an area that extends between the Laga Mountains and the Sibillini Mountains<\/strong>, in the territory of Acquasanta Terme<\/strong>, just a few kilometers from Ascoli Piceno.<\/p>\n

Currently, the gorges are undergoing enhancement and safety improvement works<\/strong>, but the excursion is still recommended only with expert guides<\/strong> \u2013 speleological, alpine, or environmental \u2013 to tackle the route in complete safety.<\/p>\n
