In 2002, it was entrusted to the female Camaldolese monastic community, dependent on the Monastery of St. Anthony in Rome.<br \/>\nAccording to the Camaldolese style, the Monastery is associated with a guesthouse, a place intended to welcome those who wish to renew their Christian life through the reading of the word of God, prayer, and silence.<br \/>\nThe expressions of the great abbot of Fonte Avellana, St. Peter Damian, come to mind: &#8220;Oh, hermitage! Delight of holy souls and inexhaustible sweetness of inner life!&#8230;oh, cell! Admirable workshop of spiritual exercise, where the soul rebuilds within itself the image of its Creator and restores its original purity!&#8230;oh, cell! Entirely spiritual house!&#8230;oh, hermitage! Freedom of the soul!&#8230;oh, eremitic life! Blessed life, garden of the soul, holy life, angelic life!&#8230;&#8221; (opus. XI, c. 19 Laus vitae eremiticae).<br \/>\nFor our Diocese, it is a true gift from God.
